Liverpool got the better of Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend to end a run of three consecutive defeats in all competitions.
Olivia Smith and Leanne Kiernan grabbed a goal apiece to give Liverpool a two-goal lead at the break, and while Michelle Agyemang halved the deficit in the 48th minute, the Reds stood firm for the rest of the contest to seal a 2-1 away victory.
As a result, Liverpool have now taken 24 points from 19 matches, leaving them in fifth position with three games left to play against Spurs, Everton and Chelsea.
The Reds will ultimately fall short of last season's fifth-placed finish, but they will still be determined to seal a top-half spot for the second campaign in a row.
They will certainly fancy their chances of adding three more points to their tally this weekend, having won three of their previous four WSL home matches (L1).

Tottenham enter the weekend with hopes of ending their three-month wait for a win, having drawn one and lost six of their previous seven league matches since they beat Crystal Palace on January 26.
Spurs ended a five-game losing league run with a 1-1 draw against Leicester City last month, but they were unable to build upon that result in last Sunday's away clash with Aston Villa despite coming from two goals down.
Jessica Naz and Ella Morris scored two goals in five minutes after Aston Villa had established a two-goal lead, only for Kirsty Hanson to net a stoppage-time winner to condemn Spurs to a 3-2 defeat, leaving them in ninth position in the WSL table.
Spurs boss Robert Vilahamn will be disappointed with the fact that his team have the second-worst defensive record in the division, having shipped 40 goals in 19 league matches this season.
Tottenham will hope to offer a defensive improvement in Sunday's contest as they go in search of their first WSL victory since beating Liverpool in October 2022.

Liverpool will be unable to call upon Zara Shaw and Sofie Lundgaard, who are both sidelined with knee injuries.
Interim boss Amber Whiteley is confident that Smith will be available despite being forced off in the recent win over Brighton.
However, Chelsea loanee Alejandra Bernabe has been ruled out for the rest of the season, while Kiernan is a doubt after she picked up a knock in training.
As for the visitors, they are expected to be without Luana Buhler, Hayley Raso and Kit Graham, but Charlotte Grant is available after returning to training this week.
Eveliina Summanen and Drew Spence will both serve one-match bans after picking up their fifth yellow card of the WSL season.
Matilda Vinberg and Bethany England are pushing for starting spots after coming off the bench to play around half-an-hour in the defeat to Aston Villa.
Liverpool Women possible starting lineup:

Tottenham Hotspur Women possible starting lineup:

We say: Liverpool Women 2-0 Tottenham Hotspur Women
Liverpool have won three of their previous four WSL home matches, and with Spurs experiencing a poor run of form, we think that the hosts will ultimately make full use of home advantage to take maximum points from Sunday's fixture.
