Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Eredivisie fixtures, including Groningen vs. PSV.

AZ Alkmaar aim to end a dismal six-match losing streak against Feyenoord when both European hopefuls clash in Saturday's gameweek 28 Eredivisie contest at AFAS Stadion.

Maarten Martens's side, seeking a potential Champions League return after 16 years, trail their third-placed Rotterdam visitors - who occupy the third qualifying round spot heading into this weekend's fixtures - by seven points.

We say: AZ Alkmaar 2-3 Feyenoord

With AZ's last four Eredivisie games averaging 4.5 goals and Feyenoord's previous three averaging 6.0 goals, Saturday's contest promises to be thrilling.

The visitors, supported by an in-form forward in Paixao, who has netted in three straight games — including a hat-trick in the 6-2 win at Twente before notching back-to-back match-winners — are expected to narrowly win and secure a seventh straight victory over their Alkmaar hosts.

FC Twente vs. Sittard (Saturday, 5.45pm)

Aiming to avoid losing three Eredivisie matches on the trot, FC Twente host Europe hopefuls Fortuna Sittard in Saturday's gameweek 28 clash at De Grolsch Veste.

The Tukkers' recent defeats have seen them fall away in the battle to end in the top three or four, and Joseph Oosting's sixth-placed side may have to settle for the post-season European playoffs if results remain inconsistent in the concluding rounds.

We say: FC Twente 3-1 Fortuna Sittard

Twente have claimed five consecutive victories in this fixture since August 2022, and the Reds are expected to put the Feyenoord thrashing behind them to record a sixth straight triumph and secure their 10th league success in Enschede.

Groningen vs. PSV (Saturday, 7.00pm)

Low-scoring European hopefuls Groningen aim to inflict further misery on seemingly outgoing Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven in Saturday's gameweek 28 clash at Euroborg.

Despite being the second-lowest scorers with 26 goals, only surpassing bottom-placed Almere City (18), the Pride of the North are vying for a top-eight position that could ensure potential European involvement next term, and Dick Lukkien's side hope to defeat an opponent that has declined since the start of the year.

We say: Groningen 1-1 PSV Eindhoven

While PSV returned to winning ways away from home against Waalwijk in mid-March to snap a four-match winless run (three losses) on the road, Groningen's rearguard should present more resistance than the team with the worst defensive record.

Having not lost a home fixture since October, the hosts, who have conceded just seven goals in 13 matches at Euroborg, will be confident in their chances of holding the Peasants to a draw on Saturday.

Almere City vs. PEC Zwolle (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Two sides with contrasting ambitions square off at Yanmar Stadion on Saturday as bottom-placed Almere City host Conference League hopefuls PEC Zwolle in round 28 of the Eredivisie.

The hosts are fighting to keep their slim survival hopes alive, while the visitors will be eyeing maximum points to strengthen their push for a playoff spot.

We say: Almere City 0-2 PEC Zwolle

Both sides will look to build on their recent victories, but Zwolle seem better positioned to take the spoils, given their strong record at Almere.

With 32 goals to their name this season, the visitors carry a greater attacking threat, which could prove decisive against an Almere side that has struggled in front of goal with just 18 strikes while conceding 50.
