Sunday's Serie A predictions including Roma vs. Fiorentina

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Roma vs. Fiorentina.

Empoli vs. Lazio (Sunday, 11.30am)

With one side fighting for a top-four finish and the other scrapping for survival, Lazio will meet Empoli at Stadio Castellani on Sunday.

Despite struggling for consistency, the Rome club have not given up on reaching the Champions League, while their relegation-threatened hosts last won a Serie A match in December.

We say: Empoli 0-3 Lazio

While the home side are desperately short of confidence, their visitors will be fully focused on taking maximum points from what is a must-win game if they are to sneak back into Serie A's top four.

Even if the game remains tight in its latter stages, Lazio have scored more goals in the final 15 minutes (20) than anyone else - meanwhile, ailing Empoli have conceded the most (16) during that same period.

Monza vs. Atalanta (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Still in danger of letting a top-four finish slip from their grasp, Atalanta BC will aim to claim maximum points from Sunday's clash with rock-bottom Monza.

Another slip-up last week leaves La Dea with work to do in Serie A's tight Champions League race; meanwhile, Monza are set to have relegation confirmed.

We say: Monza 0-2 Atalanta BC

Even short of their once-brilliant best, Atalanta should add to Monza's endless woes by picking up three valuable points in the hunt for Champions League qualification.

Not only do the visitors boast some formidable away form, but their relegation-bound hosts have Serie A's worst home record.

Roma vs. Fiorentina (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Separated by just one point in the Serie A standings, European contenders Roma and Fiorentina will clash at Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.

The Giallorossi's revival continued with last week's win over the reigning champions, but the Viola followed back-to-back victories with a Conference League defeat in midweek.

We say: Roma 1-0 Fiorentina

Not only are Fiorentina much more flaky on the road, Roma have made Stadio Olimpico a fortress again - so the home side should edge a close contest.

Also benefitting from more rest than the Viola, who are between two legs of a European semi-final, Claudio Ranieri's men can keep their top-four challenge on track.

Bologna vs. Juventus (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Both battling for a precious top-four finish, Serie A rivals Bologna and Juventus will go head-to-head at Stadio Dall'Ara on Sunday evening.

Should the Rossoblu win, they would overtake Juve in the table with just three games to go, overturning a slim one-point deficit before kickoff.

We say: Bologna 1-0 Juventus

With a mere six league wins away from home this season, Juventus have not travelled well, so an injury-hit squad could suffer defeat at Dall'Ara.

For their part, Bologna are still buoyant, and they have little to lose but everything to gain in an incredibly close top-four race.
