Rio Ave will look to put an end to their recent slide when they welcome Estrela Amadora to the Estadio dos Arcos, with both sides seeking to edge closer to safety as the Primeira Liga season nears its conclusion.

Just three games remain, and while the hosts are on the brink of mathematical survival, the Tricolours are still treading carefully, though last weekend's result gave them a timely lift in their relegation fight.

We say: Rio Ave 1-1 Estrela Amadora

Rio Ave have stumbled on home soil in recent weeks, whereas Estrela da Amadora have shown improved resilience on their travels despite a narrow defeat last time out, and with two of their three previous Primeira Liga meetings ending all square, the signs point towards a balanced encounter once again.

Arouca vs. Casa Pia (Sunday, 6.00pm)

Arouca will be looking to secure back-to-back home wins for the first time this season when they play host to Casa Pia at the Estadio Municipal de Arouca in round 32 of the Primeira Liga on Sunday.

Os Gansos, on the other hand, head into the weekend in search of their first victory on the road since the start of February as they continue their push for a second consecutive top-half finish.

We say: Arouca 2-2 Casa Pia

Arouca and Casa Pia have struggled to get going at the tail end of the season and will both set out in search of a morale-boosting result as they look to close out the season strong. Home advantage gives Arouca a slight upper hand, but we predict Os Gansos will do just enough to force a share of the spoils.

Sporting Lisbon vs. Gil Vicente (Sunday, 8.30pm)

Sporting Lisbon's defence of the Primeira Liga title continues this weekend as they welcome Gil Vicente to the Estadio Jose Alvalade, knowing that anything less than victory could hand control of the title race to their fiercest rivals in Lisbon.

While the Lions are firm favourites against the Roosters still seeking mathematical safety, Cesar Peixoto's men arrive in good spirits following back-to-back wins.

We say: Sporting Lisbon 4-1 Gil Vicente

Sporting are overwhelming favourites to claim maximum points despite Gil Vicente's recent revival, and with an eye on boosting their goal difference in the event that Benfica also win, the Lions will be determined to turn in another ruthless attacking display.
