Teams from two nations are prepared to rival La Liga clubs for the signature of Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Pablo Sarabia by presenting 'a dizzying salary'.

Pablo Sarabia is seemingly increasingly likely to depart Wolverhampton Wanderers during the summer transfer window.

The Spain international is nearly at the end of a two-and-a-half-year contract that he was convinced to sign to leave Paris Saint-Germain when Julen Lopetegui was in charge at Molineux.

Sarabia has since found himself in and out of the team under different managers, yet the 32-year-old has been a regular under Vitor Pereira whether that be from the start or off the substitutes' bench.

Nevertheless, given the playmaker's age and being one of Wolves' biggest earners, the West Midlands outfit have been in no rush to offer fresh terms when they are in a relegation battle.

According to La Razon, there are a wide range of suitors for Sarabia at this stage of the season.

La Liga teams facing fight?

The likes of Sevilla and Celta Vigo have previously been credited with an interest in Sarabia who has not played in La Liga since departing the former in 2019.

As per the report, his current preference is to return to his homeland with it plausible that Sevilla could be the favourites to acquire his signature.

However, it is claimed that teams from MLS and the Saudi Pro League are each contemplating whether to provide Sarabia with what is described as 'a dizzying salary'.

Teams such as Sevilla and Celta Vigo are not in a position to match such demands, leaving Sarabia with plenty to ponder if other proposals are presented.

While the clubs from the United States and Saudi Arabia are unnamed, Sarabia may be able to name his price due to his established reputation.

A foregone conclusion?

Even if Wolves watch Sarabia depart on a free transfer, both the player and club have gotten value for money from working together since the start of 2023.

Sarabia has twice helped Wolves remain as a Premier League team, something which could extend to three times come the end of this season, when he cost just £4.4m.

His wages have not helped Wolves' cause with regards to the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules in the past, but there is likely to be a mutual parting of the ways with Sarabia turning 33 years of age in May.

Despite that prospect, Sarabia could still be named in the starting lineup when Wolves face West Ham United at Molineux on April 1.
