Man United's title hopes are looking fairly slim despite the fact the they have won their last six WSL matches, including a 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace before the international break.

Elisabeth Terland scored either side of a Palace equaliser, before Grace Clinton added a third to seal all three points for Marc Skinner's side.

Despite putting together a fine run of form, Man United remain seven points adrift of leaders Chelsea with eight matches left to play in the WSL season.

Crucially, they are five points better off than Manchester City in fourth position, putting them on course to secure Women's Champions League qualification after missing out last term.

The Red Devils will be looking to maintain their unbeaten home league record in Sunday's fixture, having won five and drawn two of their seven home matches in the WSL.

Leicester are in 10th position in the WSL table after winning three, drawing three and losing eight of their 14 league games this season.

The Foxes boosted their survival hopes by claiming two victories in their final three league matches before the international window.

Amandine Miquel's side edged out Liverpool via a 2-1 scoreline at the King Power Stadium, before they fell to a heavy 4-1 defeat in their away meeting with Everton.

Leicester returned to winning ways with an emphatic 3-0 victory against Aston Villa, with Janice Cayman netting a brace alongside a Julie Thibaud effort to fire the Foxes to back-to-back home league victories.

However, they have been unable to produce similar results on their travels, having lost each of their last five away league matches, taking their overall winless away run to 12 WSL games.

Team News

Skinner has confirmed that midfielder Lisa Naalsund is "not quite" ready to return from an injury issue which has kept her out of action since November.

The Man United boss could be tempted to stick with the same lineup that started the 3-1 win over Palace before the international break.

Terland will continue to lead the line for the hosts, with the striker looking to score in a fourth consecutive game for Man United after netting four goals in her last three club appearances.

As for the visitors, Miquel has revealed that she has no fresh injury concerns following the international period.

However, the Foxes are still expected to be without Deanne Rose, Lena Petermann, Noemie Mouchon and Jutta Rantala.

It remains to be seen whether Sam Tierney will be involved after she was forced off in the win over Aston Villa before the international break.

We say: Manchester United Women 3-1 Leicester City Women

Man United have won each of their previous three home league games with minimum fuss, and we think that they will produce another dominant home performance to ease to all three points in their first game back from the international break.
