Getafe will be unable to call upon Christantus Uche for Wednesday's La Liga clash against Real Madrid at the Coliseum.
Uche is suspended for the midweek fixture after he was shown a straight red card in Friday's defeat to Espanyol for a dangerous tackle on Jofre.
The experienced Allan Nyom is also a doubt for Sunday's fixture after missing the Espanyol loss with an injury problem.
David Soria will continue in goal for the Azulones, with the goalkeeper set to be shielded by the central-defensive pairing of Domingos Duarte and Omar Alderete.
Getafe captain Djene will marshal the right side of defence, while Diego Rico will slot in at left-back after serving a one-match suspension.
Uche's absence will force Jose Bordalas to make alterations in midfield, with Ramon Terrats likely to move across from the right winger to feature in the middle of the park with Mauro Arambarri and Luis Milla.
Coba da Costa could swap flanks to operate on the right wing, while Juan Bernat appears to be the top contender to replace Uche in the starting lineup.
The Villarreal loanee will try to offer attacking support from the left, although as a natural full-back, he will provide useful defensive cover against Real Madrid's attacking talent.
Juanmi, who joined on loan from Real Betis in January, could be recalled to lead the line against Los Blancos, although Bordalas does have the option to stick with Bertug Yildirim or use Real Madrid loanee Alvaro Rodriguez.
Getafe possible starting lineup: Soria; Djene, Duarte, Alderete, Rico; Coba, Terrats, Milla, Arambarri, Bernat; Juanmi
