EFL Cup final: Can you name every previous winner as Liverpool and Newcastle meet at Wembley?

Sports Mole challenges you to name every previous League Cup winner in the competition's history ahead of Sunday's final between Liverpool and Newcastle at Wembley.

One of Liverpool or Newcastle United will become the latest club to have their name etched into the League Cup trophy on Sunday when the two northern powerhouses travel south to do battle in the EFL Cup final at Wembley.

Liverpool are no strangers to lifting this particular piece of silverware - indeed, having won their 10th League Cup last season, they are the most successful club in the competition's 65-year history.

However, Newcastle have never before got their hands on this trophy and are bidding to become the 24th different club to have their name engraved as League Cup winners.

Two previous attempts for the Magpies to join the honours list have proved unsuccessful, most recently in 2023, and their overall major trophy drought now stands at 70 years - longer than the EFL Cup has even been in existence.

Here, to celebrate the occasion at Wembley, Sports Mole is challenging you to name as many of the 23 clubs to have lifted the League Cup aloft as possible; we've given you Liverpool, but how many more can you get?
