Manchester United are allegedly giving consideration to trying to re-sign one of their former players during the summer transfer window.
On Sunday afternoon, Ruben Amorim witnessed his side suffer their 15th Premier League defeat of the campaign as they succumbed to a 1-0 reverse at the hands of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Red Devils now sit within two points of 17th position in the standings, albeit still having the Europa League semi-finals to look forward to as they bid to qualify for next season's Champions League.
Regardless of the outcome, Amorim is eager to rebuild his squad at Old Trafford, strengthening a number of positions expected to be on his agenda.
According to CaughtOffside, one of United's former wingers is said to be on the club's radar.

United keen on Elanga reunion?
The report alleges that United may attempt an ambitious approach for Anthony Elanga, who has flourished since his move to the City Ground in 2023.
Six goals and eight assists have been contributed from 32 appearances in the Premier League this campaign, with the East Midlands outfit pushing for European qualification of some kind.
Such has been Elanga's impact at Forest during 2024-25 that he has played a part in more goals than the likes of Morgan Gibbs-White, despite playing 290 minutes fewer.
With over three years remaining on the Sweden international's contract, Forest will not be on any rush to cash in on one of their best performers.
Nevertheless, Man United are said to be among a number of Premier League teams who are monitoring his situation at Forest in the event that big-money offers are considered.

Why Man United can only be viewed as outsiders
When United sold Elanga to Forest, they recouped £15m for a player who was a homegrown talent based on being with the club since 2015.
If a reunion was facilitated, United would face paying well in excess of double the fee that they recouped at a time when they need to ensure that they comply with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules.
While Elanga will hold a certain affinity to the Theatre of Dreams, he contributed just four goals and four assists from his 55 outings at Old Trafford under different managers.
United will need to secure Champions League football for next season to tempt the 22-year-old back, as well as guarantee regular starts in Amorim's system.
