Manchester United have reportedly been handed a boost in the pursuit of striker Victor Osimhen, with Juventus said to have pulled out of the race for his signature.
The Red Devils are set to take on Bournemouth on Sunday in the Premier League, and a defeat would be the club's 16th loss after 34 matchweeks.
One of the reasons for the team's poor performances under boss Ruben Amorim has been their inability to score goals, with United's tally of 38 top-flight goals making them the fifth worst attacking side in the division.
Striker Rasmus Hojlund has only scored three Premier League goals, and it would be difficult to justify entering the 2025-26 campaign without a new centre-forward.
Reports from Tuttosport claim that Juventus have pivoted away from Napoli forward Victor Osimhen, who has been linked to other English sides such as Chelsea.

Osimhen or Delap?
Osimhen has consistently proven that he can be productive in the final third having scored 65 goals and provided 12 assists in Serie A for Napoli in 108 matches.
The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Galatasaray, and he has found the back of the net 21 times in 25 league games while also registering four assists.
However, there are question marks about the striker's temperament, with concerns about whether his attitude could prove to be disruptive in the United dressing room.
The Red Devils have also been credited with an interest in Ipswich Town number nine Liam Delap, who will be available for a fee of £30m following the confirmation of Ipswich's relegation after they lost 3-0 against Newcastle United on Saturday.
Delap has managed to score 12 goals and provide two assists despite the struggles of his current team, and considering he is just 22 years old, there is arguably significantly more to come from the Englishman.
Should United look to sign either striker and add reported target Matheus Cunha, there is every chance that Amorim could turn the team's attacking fortunes around.
