Arsenal are reportedly poised to sign Leroy Sane amid speculation that contract renewal talks with Bayern Munich have broken down.
The Gunners will take on Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final clash on Wednesday, but they will have to overturn a one-goal deficit to reach the final of the competition.
Manager Mikel Arteta will have to hope that his side can get by without forwards Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz, but attackers Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have struggled in the final third recently.
Numerous reports have claimed that the club will look to make attacking reinforcements in the summer, with the likes of Bayern Munich winger Sane linked.
Stories had suggested that the German was close to reaching an agreement over a contract extension in order to prevent him leaving for free, but Sky in Germany say that the 29-year-old is now dissatisfied with the package on offer and report that he could return to the Premier League.

Why Arsenal need reinforcements
Since returning from a serious hamstring injury against Fulham on April 1, Saka has scored two goals and registered no assists in nine matches.
The Englishman had found the back of the net nine times and assisted teammates on 13 occasions in his first 24 games of the season.
Martinelli has also failed to produce in attack, scoring two goals and providing one assist in his 13 most recent outings for Arsenal.
Arteta has been forced to utilise midfielder Mikel Merino in the forward line this term, so adding another attacker on a free transfer could be a sensible way of adding significant depth up front.

Why Sane makes sense
Arsenal fans have long clamoured for the addition of a central striker considering the struggles of Havertz and the inconsistencies of Jesus.
While Sane is more comfortable operating on the flanks, his status as a free agent would likely allow the Gunners to make other signings in attack.
Additionally, having found the back of the net 13 times and registered four assists for Bayern despite starting just 25 times this campaign, Sane has demonstrated that he is still capable of contributing at the highest level.
Should Arteta sign the 29-year-old and bring in a striker, the Arsenal boss may finally end his trophy drought and get his team over the line in the Premier League.
