Chelsea will reportedly not be signing Manchester United attacker Jadon Sancho on a permanent basis this summer.
The 25-year-old made the move to Chelsea on loan last August, with an obligation to buy being included under certain conditions, and the Englishman did impress in the early stages of his time at Stamford Bridge.
However, the 25-year-old has struggled of late, with his overall record for the Blues reading two goals and seven assists in 30 appearances in all competitions, including two goals and five assists in 25 Premier League outings.
The price for Chelsea to sign Sancho permanently this summer is £25m, and it had appeared that the deal would go through this summer.
However, recent reports have suggested that the capital club can pay £5m to back out, and according to The Sun, Enzo Maresca's side have decided to take the £5m hit in order to send the ex-Manchester City youngster back to Old Trafford.

Chelsea 'to pay £5m to end Sancho arrangement'
Sancho played the full 90 minutes of Chelsea's Premier League clash with Brentford last time out, but he was unable to make his mark in what proved to be a goalless draw.
The forward has not managed to contribute a goal in the Premier League since the start of December, while his last assist was at the start of January, with his performances dipping after a solid start.
Man United are not expected to find a spot in their first-team squad for Sancho next season, so another loan departure is possible, although the forward's contract at Old Trafford is due to expire in June 2026.
As a result, a permanent sale this summer will be wanted by the Red Devils, as it would be a huge blow to lose a player that arrived for a fee in the region of £73m on a free transfer.

Could Sancho remain in the Premier League?
There is believed to be Premier League interest in the shape of Wolverhampton Wanderers, and it is not impossible to imagine the forward making the move to Molineux this summer.
Sancho will also not be short of interest from abroad, but he would have to be prepared to take a significant pay cut, as his current salary is around £250,000 a week, with £200,000 of that allegedly being paid by Chelsea.
The forward arrived at Old Trafford from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021 with a huge reputation, but he has only managed 12 goals and six assists in 83 appearances for Man United during a hugely underwhelming spell.
