Crystal Palace have announced that right wing-back Daniel Munoz has extended his contract at the club.
The 28-year-old's initial deal was due to expire in the summer of 2027, but he has now decided to pen fresh terms and extend his contract by an additional 12 months.
Munoz has made a total of 54 appearances for the Eagles across all competitions since joining the club from Genk for a reported £6.9m in January 2024.
The Colombia international has played an integral part in Palace's recent success, registering six goals and 10 assists for Oliver Glasner's side, with six goals and six assists recorded in 38 games so far this season.
Earlier this month, Munoz scored the winning goal in Palace's 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion in the M23 derby, while he also netted goals in FA Cup wins over Doncaster Rovers and Millwall en route to the quarter-finals.
Munoz's impressive performances at right wing-back were understood to have caught the attention of several top European clubs including Manchester City, who had identified him as a potential successor to Kyle Walker.

Munoz: 'This new contract is more than a signature'
Chelsea and Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in Munoz, but Palace were determined to keep hold of the South American and have successfully extended his deal to keep him at Selhurst Park for three more years.
Speaking to cpfc.co.uk after signing his contract extension, Munoz said: "From day one, I felt the energy on the field at Selhurst Park - now, it's my home.
"This new contract is more than a signature. It's a promise to keep fighting with passion and heart for the fans who live every moment with us."
Chairman Steve Parish added: "This is fantastic news for Crystal Palace. Daniel is the epitome of an excellent professional, giving his all in every match and training session.
"He has made a great impact since arriving in South London last year, and I am delighted that he has chosen to commit his future to the club."
Munoz's new deal was announced just three days after Palace confirmed that midfielder Will Hughes has extended his contract until the end of the 2026-27 campaign.

Which full-backs could Man City target after Munoz blow?
Now that Munoz has committed his future to Crystal Palace, Man City will likely step up their interest in Juventus full-back Andrea Cambiaso, who is believed to be one of their primary targets ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Citizens have also been credited with an interest in Nottingham Forest's Ola Aina, but they are expected to suffer the same fate as they have with Munoz, as the Nigerian is set to extend his contract at the City Ground.
Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong and Newcastle United's Valentino Livramento are two other names who have been mentioned as potential summer targets for Pep Guardiola, who is currently relying on Rico Lewis and Matheus Nunes to operate at right-back, as Josko Gvardiol and Nico O'Reilly play on the opposite side of defence.
