Tuesday's League One predictions including Birmingham vs. Stevenage

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's League One fixtures, including Birmingham vs. Stevenage.

In a crucial clash that will impact the relegation battle in League One, Exeter City will host Mansfield Town at St James Park on Tuesday.

Exeter beat Shrewsbury Town 2-0 on Saturday and are 18th in the table with 40 points, while Mansfield are in 16th place with 41 points following their 1-1 draw with Stevenage on March 8.

We say: Exeter City 1-0 Mansfield Town

Mansfield have struggle to score goals in recent weeks, and they could find it difficult to threaten their hosts.

Additionally, Exeter should be confident of securing a positive result considering the visitors' form is poor.

Birmingham vs. Stevenage (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

With a title at stake in League One, Birmingham City will want to avoid complacency when they host Stevenage at St Andrew's on Tuesday.

Birmingham have 79 points and lead second-placed Wycombe Wanderers by 11 points while boasting the advantage of a game in hand, whereas 12th-placed Stevenage trail their hosts by 31 points and drew 1-1 with Mansfield Town on Saturday.

We say: Birmingham City 2-0 Stevenage

League-leaders Birmingham will be keen to wrap up the title as soon as possible, and they are unlikely to take Tuesday's game lightly.

Stevenage will find it difficult to break down their hosts' excellent defence considering their struggles in the final third, and it is hard to see them avoiding defeat at St Andrew's.

Bristol Rovers vs. Bolton (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

A struggling Bristol Rovers side are set to host promotion-chasing Bolton Wanderers at Memorial Stadium on Saturday in League One.

Rovers are currently 16th in the table with 21 points from their 18 games so far, while Bolton are seventh after accumulating 30 points from their 17 matches this season.

We say: Bristol Rovers 1-2 Bolton Wanderers

Even though Bristol Rovers are struggling at the moment, especially offensively, they could find holes in Bolton's weak defence to score a rare goal.

However, the Trotters have scored significantly more than the Gas this season, and may prove too much for Horseman's side to handle.

Crawley vs. Charlton (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Crawley Town square off against Charlton Athletic on New Year's Day requiring a win to have a chance of moving outside of the League One relegation zone.

At a time when the home side sit in 21st position in the table, Charlton are in ninth after putting together an outstanding recent run of form.

We say: Crawley Town 1-2 Charlton Athletic

With Crawley having shown signs of improvement last time out, they cannot be ruled out of this contest. Nevertheless, Charlton are on a massive high having defeated Wycombe, something which we feel will lead to a hard-earned victory being recorded here.

Blackpool vs. Cambridge (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

As part of this weekend's League One action, Blackpool are set to host relegation-threatened Cambridge United at Bloomfield Road on Saturday.

Both sides come into the game looking for their first win of 2025, though the Seasiders are unbeaten this year so far while the U's have lost both of their games in January.

We say: Blackpool 1-0 Cambridge United

Both sides are without a win in their last five games, though Blackpool have drawn their last three while Cambridge have lost theirs.

This weekend, the U's will be desperate to avoid being cut adrift in the relegation zone, but their blunt offence and weak defence makes it difficult to envision Monk's side taking anything from Saturday's clash.

Reading vs. Wrexham (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Wrexham will have the chance to move into the League One automatic promotion places when they travel to Berkshire for Tuesday's meeting with Reading at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

The Red Dragons are currently in third place on goal difference, while the Royals are in eighth position in the League One table.

We say: Reading 1-1 Wrexham

Wrexham will be keen to boost their promotion bid by claiming all three points in Tuesday's away clash, but while they have won three of their last four league games, we think they will be held to a draw by a Reading side that have seen five of their previous seven matches finish all square.
