Manchester United centre-back Leny Yoro says that he 'feels really good', with the Frenchman available for selection again.

Manchester United centre-back Leny Yoro has said that he 'feels really good', with the Frenchman available for selection again after overcoming the problem which he suffered against Arsenal on March 9.

Yoro made the move to Man United from Lille last summer, and he has been a regular since December, with the 19-year-old absent in the opening months of the campaign due to a fractured metatarsal.

There had been some concern surrounding the teenager following the Arsenal match, and he was then absent against both Real Sociedad and Leicester City, but the defender returned to training on Friday.

Yoro is now set to be back in the squad for Tuesday's Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest.

"I feel really good, I am back in training today and [I feel] no pain. I am really happy with everything," Yoro told MUTV.

Yoro 'feels really good' after recent injury issue

Yoro has made 21 appearances for Man United this season, including 14 outings in the Premier League, and he has shown his potential with a number of strong performances.

The Frenchman has paid tribute to the Red Devils for their support since his arrival, especially after he suffered a fractured metatarsal during a pre-season friendly with Arsenal in the United States.

"Honestly, everyone in the club [has] helped me," said Yoro. "Even with an injury in the middle of the season, the medical staff, the players, the fans, everyone was able to support me and this is something you need when you get a big injury. It has been really important for me."

Will Yoro start against Forest?

Man United have been handed a triple defensive boost ahead of the clash with Forest, with Yoro, Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire all back in training following injury problems.

Ayden Heaven will be missing due to the ankle injury that he suffered against Leicester City before the March international break, but the youngster's issue is not believed to be as serious as first feared.

Victor Lindelof has impressed in Man United's last two matches, while Matthijs de Ligt has also been a dependable performer, meaning that head coach Ruben Amorim has some big decisions to make for the Forest clash.

It is possible that both Maguire and Yoro could come into the back three to start alongside De Ligt, with Patrick Dorgu potentially returning as the left-sided wing-back after serving a domestic suspension.

Shaw, though, is expected to be named on the bench, as Amorim will want to be cautious when it comes to the 29-year-old, who has been restricted to just three appearances during the 2024-25 campaign.
