Sports Mole looks at how Borussia Dortmund could line up for their Champions League quarter-final first leg away to Barcelona on Wednesday.

Borussia Dortmund manager Niko Kovac will be spoilt for choice all over the pitch when he takes his side to Montjuic to face Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday.

With Marcel Sabitzer and Nico Schlotterbeck set to be the only injury absentees, missing out with a knee injuries, Kovac has at least two options in every position available to him for this one.

That is aided by the fact that, despite Schlotterbeck's injury this week, he could have two defenders available to him again, if Niklas Sule is able to recover from the knock that ruled him out of Saturday's 4-1 win at Freiburg.

Yan Couto will also be back after serving one-game suspensions in the win at the weekend, but the Brazilian is battling with Julian Ryerson and Daniel Svensson for a starting berth at full-back.

Serhou Guirassy is the one player certain to start, especially after Kovac rested him at the weekend, and with 25 goals across all competitions this season, the Guinean also netted twice against Barca during the League Phase.

Jamie Gittens has fallen out of favour slightly in recent weeks after an electric start to the season, and the Englishman is likely to find himself on the bench for this one, with other attacking players in better form.

Maximilian Beier is the standout, with two goals and two assists in his last two matches, while speedster Karim Adeyemi is often a big-game player, and will provide a huge threat in the final third.

Even though he was able to find his maiden goal in his first Dortmund start at the weekend, Chelsea loanee Carney Chukwuemeka will most probably drop to the bench, despite a suspension for Pascal Gross, with Emre Can, Julian Brandt and Salih Ozcan higher in the pecking order at present.

Borussia Dortmund possible starting lineup:
Kobel; Ryerson, Anton, Bensebaini, Svensson; Can, Ozcan, Brandt; Adeyemi, Guirassy, Beier
