Arsenal will be aware that their realistic goal will be to secure a top-three finish rather than mount a title challenge, with 10 points separating them from leaders Chelsea.
Crucially, they are two points ahead of Manchester City in fourth position after winning seven of their last eight league matches, including a dominant win in the North London derby before the international break.
Mariona Caldentey, Frida Maanum, Alessia Russo and Emily Fox all found the net alongside a Clare Hunt own-goal to fire Arsenal to a commanding 5-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur, meaning that they have now scored at least four goals in three of their previous four league outings.
In fact, the Gunners have now won their previous four home league games by a combined 19-0 scoreline, ensuring that they will head into Sunday's contest with supreme confidence.
Arsenal are looking to complete a league double over the Hammers after recording a 2-0 win in October's reverse fixture following goals from Caldentey and Rosa Kafaji.

West Ham went into the international window in a positive mood after they recorded two wins in their final three league games before the two-week break.
After beating Everton 2-0 on home turf, West Ham fell to a narrow 1-0 away defeat against Liverpool, before they got back to winning ways in their home meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion.
Shekiera Martinez saw her opener cancelled out by Nikita Parris, before Riko Ueki and Vivianne Asseyi found the net in the second half to fire Rehanne Skinner's side to a 3-1 victory, representing their fourth win in five home league games.
Unfortunately for the Hammers, they have been unable to replicate those sort of results on their travels, having lost each of their last four WSL away matches since drawing 1-1 with Everton in October.
In fact, they have failed to win any of their previous 12 WSL road trips (D2, L10) since beating Bristol City 2-1 in January 2024, indicating that a point may be the best that they can hope for in a difficult game against the Gunners.

We say: Arsenal Women 3-0 West Ham United Women
Arsenal have proven to be an imperious force in recent home league outings, and with that in mind, we believe that the Gunners will produce a strong display at both ends of the pitch to claim a comfortable victory over West Ham.
