Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's La Liga fixtures, including Real Madrid vs. Celta Vigo.

Real Madrid will be bidding to remain in the La Liga title race when they resume their campaign with a home fixture against a talented Celta Vigo outfit on Sunday afternoon.

Carlo Ancelotti's side are second in the La Liga table, four points behind the leaders Barcelona, while Celta sit seventh, with the Sky Blues battling to secure European football for the 2025-26 campaign.

We say: Real Madrid 2-1 Celta Vigo

This is a massive game for Real Madrid, and they will be missing a whole host of important players, which will certainly hand Celta confidence. The Sky Blues have struggled away from home this season, though, and their recent record against Real Madrid is poor, so we are expecting Ancelotti's side to navigate their way to all three points.

Sevilla vs. Leganes (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Leganes' battle to escape the La Liga relegation zone will continue on Sunday afternoon when they tackle a Sevilla outfit that could yet be pulled into trouble in the final stages of the 2024-25 campaign.

The visitors are currently 19th in the La Liga table, four points behind 17th-placed Alaves, while Sevilla occupy 15th, only five points outside of the relegation zone heading into the final straight.

We say: Sevilla 1-1 Leganes

Lukebakio's absence for Sevilla is a major blow considering his goal threat, and we are finding it difficult to back the hosts with any real confidence this weekend due to their struggles, with the points potentially being shared in a low-scoring draw.

Espanyol vs. Betis (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Real Betis' fight to secure Champions League football for the 2025-26 campaign will continue on Sunday evening when they head to an Espanyol outfit that have pulled themselves out of relegation danger in recent weeks.

The visitors are currently sixth in the La Liga table, one point behind fifth-placed Villarreal, while Espanyol are 13th, seven points clear of the relegation zone with only five games left to play.

We say: Espanyol 1-2 Real Betis

Real Betis need to win to remain in the Champions League hunt, and we are backing the Seville outfit to triumph here; Espanyol have been in strong form of late, but we can see Pellegrini's side emerging victorious at the end of a tight match.

Real Sociedad vs. Athletic Bilbao (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Fresh from a heavy defeat to Manchester United in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final, Athletic Bilbao will resume domestic duties on Sunday night with a clash against Real Sociedad in the latest instalment of the Basque derby.

A rivalry dating back to 1909, it is a gigantic fixture for both sides, and Athletic will be looking to get back on track ahead of the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final with Man United next week.

We say: Real Sociedad 1-1 Athletic Bilbao

There has not actually been a La Liga draw between these two sides since October 2021, with their last six fixtures producing a winner - four victories for Athletic and two for Real Sociedad; Athletic have proven themselves to be the better side this term, but we are finding it difficult to back them with real confidence on Sunday, so a low-scoring draw may be on the cards.
