Manchester United could be without two players for their final Premier League game of the 2024-25 season against Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Lisandro Martinez remains sidelined with a long-term knee injury, while fellow centre-back Matthijs de Ligt is a doubt after missing the last four matches with a knee issue of his own.
Despite suffering a painful Europa League final loss to Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night, Ruben Amorim was boosted by the return of Leny Yoro, Diogo Dalot, Joshua Zirkzee and Jonny Evans following spells out through injury.
It remains to be seen how much Amorim will rotate his first XI, but Yoro started in the final and could retain his place in the back three next to Harry Maguire and either Luke Shaw or Victor Lindelof, while Andre Onana may continue between the sticks.
Dalot could be fit to earn a start at right wing-back, but Amorim may opt to stick with Noussair Mazraoui, while teenager Harry Amass will push Patrick Dorgu for a start on the opposite flank.
Bruno Fernandes will likely captain the Red Devils in midfield and could be joined by either Casemiro, Manuel Ugarte or Kobbie Mainoo, the latter two are both pushing for a recall after being benched for the Europa League final.
Alejandro Garnacho is believed to be facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford, but he is expected to battle with Amad Diallo and Mason Mount for a start in an advanced role, while Zirkzee could be preferred over Rasmus Hojlund to lead the line.
