Manchester City midfielder Jacob Wright has expressed his desire to leave the club permanently this summer.
Wright first registered with Man City's academy at the age of eight and worked his way through the club's youth ranks before signing a scholarship in July 2022.
The 19-year-old was a first-team regular in the Premier League title-winning Under-18s side in 2022-23 before stepping up to the Elite Development Squad last season and making 30 appearances in all competitions.
Wright was also given his first-team debut by Pep Guardiola in Man City's 5-0 FA Cup win over Huddersfield Town in January last year and made a cameo substitute appearance in a Champions League home win over Copenhagen.
The midfielder had hopes of becoming a regular first-team squad member at Man City, but senior opportunities have been few and far between for the youngster.

Wright facing uncertain future at Man City
Wright revealed in October last year that Guardiola blocked him from leaving the club last summer, telling the Manchester Evening News: "There was obviously temptation - there always is going to be - but when the manager and staff around him want you to stay and be around that first team there's not much of a choice.
"There's no temptation any longer when you get the information that they want you to stay and be around it because they see you as someone that could be around it. The temptation went out the window as soon as I heard that: I was staying for the season."
As interest from elsewhere in Wright's services intensified, the decision was made to loan the youngster out to Championship side Norwich City on a deal until the end of the season.
Wright, who turned down Swansea City in the final week of the January transfer window in favour of joining Norwich, has started four of his nine Championship appearances for the Canaries and he is keen to make the move to Carrow Road permanent this summer.

Wright: 'I'd definitely like to stay at Norwich'
"Yes, 100%," Wright told the Pink Un. "I'm really starting to build something nice at the club. I'm enjoying it. It's a good family club.
"I'm really enjoying the way they play. Hopefully, we can get some better results next season if I am to stay. I'd definitely like to stay, hopefully.
"I'm really enjoying it and learning a lot game by game. I'm working as hard as I can in training every day. I'm pushing to try and get in the starting lineup week to week. I feel like I'm improving as a player, both on and off the pitch. I'm really enjoying it.
"Any game time that I get here is a bonus. Obviously, I want to start as many games as possible, get as many minutes as possible, but whenever the manager wants to put me in, I'm going to come on and do my best."
Norwich head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup recently revealed that the club are in a "strong position" to sign Wright permanently, although no decisions have been made by the Canaries, whose loan agreement with Man City includes the option to buy the midfielder at the end of the season.
