Sports Mole looks at how Sunderland could line up for Saturday afternoon's Championship playoff final versus Sheffield United at Wembley.

Sunderland are expected to name an unchanged team for the Championship playoff final against Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon.

The Black Cats needed a 122nd-minute winner to squeeze past the attentions of Coventry City in the semi-final at the Stadium of Light earlier this month.

Scoring that vital strike in the dying stages of the contest, Dan Ballard has battled his way back into the XI in recent times to partner Luke O'Nien.

Trai Hume and Dennis Cirkin are the full-back options for the Black Cats, who are aiming to return to the Premier League after an eight-year absence.

There were some injury concerns surrounding former Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts, but it is believed that the 28-year-old will be available for the Wembley showdown.

News surrounding the fitness of striker Romaine Mundle is worse, though, with the 22-year-old failing to train with teammates ahead of this weekend's final.

As a result, leading marksman Wilson Isidor should be joined in a two-man forward line by Eliezer Mayenda, providing plenty of presence for Sunderland in attacking areas.

Sunderland possible starting lineup: Patterson; Hume, Ballard, O'Nien, Cirkin; Roberts, Neil, Bellingham, Le Fee; Isidor, Mayenda
