Leicester City and Southampton have reportedly joined Sheffield United in the race for Coventry City star Jack Rudoni.
The Saints have commenced their preparations for a campaign in the Championship by welcoming highly-rated coach Will Still to St Mary's.
Leicester are yet to part ways with current boss Ruud van Nistelrooy, who is not expected to stay in charge at Filbert Way following a disappointing end to the top-flight campaign.
Both the Foxes and the Saints finished well inside the bottom three of the Premier League standings, suffering immediate relegations to the second tier.
The two clubs will be among the favourites to lift the Championship crown next May, although Leicester's financial issues could complicate matters in the East Midlands.

Leicester, Southampton join Sheffield United in Rudoni race?
According to EFL Analysis, both Leicester and Southampton have entered the race for the highly-rated services of Coventry attacker Rudoni.
The 23-year-old has also attracted from Sheffield United, who narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League after losing the Championship playoff final to Sunderland on the weekend.
Providing the assist for the Blades' only goal at Wembley Stadium on Saturday afternoon, Gustavo Hamer is beginning to perk the ears of Premier League powers.
It is believed that Brentford and Fulham are keen on securing the signature of the Dutchman, who is known for finding the net with long-range strikes.
Should Hamer depart Bramall Lane this summer, it is understood that Chris Wilder's troops would turn their attentions to the signing of Rudoni.

Rudoni's Coventry campaign
A replacement for Hamer and Callum O'Hare in the East Midlands, Rudoni joined Coventry from League One-bound Huddersfield Town last summer.
The Sky Blues have given the 23-year-old the opportunity to become one of the Championship's leading attackers under the stewardship of head coach Frank Lampard.
Rudoni netted 10 times and provided a staggering 12 assists across 45 second-tier appearances this season, including a goal in the Championship playoff semi-finals versus Sunderland.
