Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham has reportedly made the trip to a German club ahead of a potential move to the Bundesliga.
On Saturday afternoon, the England Under-21 international played his part in helping the Black Cats achieve promotion to the Premier League courtesy of victory over Sheffield United in the Championship playoff final.
However, 19-year-old - younger sibling of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham - has been heavily linked with a transfer to a bigger club, regardless of his current team returning to the top flight.
Several German clubs have been credited with an interest and Sky Sport Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg has claimed that Bellingham has been given permission to visit Eintracht Frankfurt.
Talks are set to be held with the Champions League qualifiers, although Plettenberg stresses that no fee has been agreed nor will a medical be held at the present time.
Furthermore, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also viewed as candidates to sign Bellingham, who still has three years left on his contract at the Stadium of Light.

De Gea to move to Ligue 1?
Meanwhile, Fiorentina goalkeeper David de Gea is allegedly wanted by Monaco after impressing during his first season in Florence.
After a year away from football, the 34-year-old returned to sign for Fiorentina on a one-year contract and has since re-established himself as one of European football's top goalkeepers.
A total of 42 appearances were made in all competitions as Fiorentina earned a sixth-placed finish in Serie A and reached the Conference League semi-finals.
According to transfer Fabrizio Romano, Monaco are now attempting to take advantage of De Gea's soon-to-be free-agent status and attract him to Ligue 1.
Despite qualifying for the Champions League, Monaco are known to be in the market for a new number one, and signing the former Manchester United stopper would represent a significant coup.
However, it is claimed that Fiorentina are pushing to retain De Gea's services by offering him a new three-year contract.

Scottish Premiership champions want new goalkeeper?
Staying on the topic of goalkeepers, Celtic are reportedly interested in adding Aberdeen's Ross Doohan to their ranks.
Over a two-year period, Doohan has made just 20 appearances for the Dons and the 27-year-old was only named as a substitute for Saturday's Scottish Cup triumph over Celtic.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Celtic want to sign Doohan on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of June.
Doohan is no stranger to Celtic having began his career at the Glasgow giants and his arrival would help with registration rules for the Champions League.
The suggestion is that Doohan would replace Scott Bain as their third-choice goalkeeper.
