Liverpool head coach Arne Slot confirms a double injury boost ahead of Wednesday's Merseyside derby against Everton at Anfield.

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has revealed that goalkeeper Alisson Becker and midfielder Ryan Gravenberch are in line to be ready for Wednesday's Merseyside derby against Everton.

The Reds are set to return to action for the first time since experiencing a couple of disappointing results before the international break.

Their Champions League journey came to an end in the last 16 following a penalty-shootout defeat against French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Five days later, Liverpool produced an underwhelming performance in a 2-1 loss to Newcastle United in the EFL Cup final at Wembley.

However, they are still on course to win the Premier League in Slot's first season, having established a 12-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Alisson, Gravenberch set to be ready for derby clash

Slot has had a number of injury concerns to contend with ahead of Wednesday's Merseyside derby at Anfield, including doubts surrounding the availability of Alisson and Gravenberch.

Alisson pulled out of the Brazil squad after he appeared to sustain a head injury following a collision with Colombia's Davinson Sanchez in a World Cup qualifier.

Meanwhile, Gravenberch withdrew from the Netherlands squad ahead of the UEFA Nations League semi-final against Spain after he picked up an injury in the EFL Cup final.

However, Slot has now revealed that the pair should be available to feature in the midweek clash against local rivals Everton.

"Gravenberch is okay," Slot told reporters at Tuesday's pre-match press conference. "Alisson trained with us as well. The last check is later today."

What is the latest on Bradley's injury?

Slot also provided an update on right-back Conor Bradley, who has missed the last six competitive matches with a hamstring problem.

"Bradley is with us again, but he's only had a few sessions after being out for quite long," Slot said. "So we have to make a smart decision."

While Bradley appears to be a major doubt, Liverpool will definitely be without the services of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez due to ankle and hamstring injuries respectively.

Slot insisted that he is only concerned with Alexander-Arnold's injury status rather than speculation over his future following reports that he has agreed to join Real Madrid this summer.
