Head-to-head record
Previous meetings: 59
Crystal Palace wins: 21
Draws: 16
Wolves wins: 22
The first match between the teams came in the 1969-70 season in the First Division, with the Eagles winning 2-1 in November 1969.
Crystal Palace earned a point in the side's most recent clash, drawing 2-2 at Molineux in November 2024 in the club's first Premier League meeting of 2024-25.
Trevoh Chalobah had given the Eagles the lead on the hour mark, but Marc Guehi was forced to rescue Palace 13 minutes from after the Old Gold took a 2-1 lead with goals from Joao Gomes and Jorgen Strand Larsen.
It should be noted that Palace boast a phenomenal record in recent years against Wolves considering they have won six of their last eight meetings, suffering just one defeat in that time.
The Eagles have also emerged victorious in five of their last six at Selhurst Park, with Wolves' only draw in that period coming in September 2019, when Diogo Jota netted a 96th-minute equaliser.
Recent matches between the sides have been entertaining affairs given 13 goals have been scored - five for Wolves and eight for Palace - in their past three clashes.
Palace have the chance to draw level in terms of wins against Wolves, with the Londoners having triumphed in 21 of their 59 matches against their opponents, losing 22 times in those fixtures.
Dougie Freedman managed to find the back of the net seven times of the Eagles in this fixture - the most of any player - while Palace legend Wilfried Zaha ranks second in the scorers chart (five) in this matchup.
Wolves' top scorers against the Londoners are Derek Dougan and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, who have both netted four times, though supporters should worry about Glaziers forward Eberechi Eze considering he has scored on four occasions against the club.
