Taking a break from their respective Premier League end-of-season missions, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa cross paths at Wembley for a fascinating FA Cup semi-final on Saturday evening.

The Eagles are still waiting to hoist the famous trophy aloft, only achieving two runners-up finishes in 1990 and 2016, whereas their West Midlands counterparts are seeking to win the title for the eighth time in their history.

After taking down Stockport County, Doncaster Rovers and Millwall in the earlier rounds of the competition, Oliver Glasner's men saw off Fulham 3-0 in the semi-finals, while Villa defeated Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Cardiff City before eliminating Preston North End by the same scoreline.

However, neither side managed to come up trumps in their rearranged midweek matches, where Palace held Arsenal to a 2-2 draw while the Lions shipped a gut-wrenching last-minute goal to Manchester City in a 2-1 defeat.
