Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has revealed that Alejandro Garnacho will be travelling with the Red Devils squad for their post-season tour of Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong.
The 20-time English champions will conclude their 2024-25 Premier League season at home to Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon, before facing ASEAN All Stars on May 28 and Hong Kong, China on May 30.
Garnacho has allegedly been told that he can leave the 20-time English champions this summer, and he is not in the squad for the game with Villa, further adding to the speculation surrounding his future.
However, Amorim has said that the Argentina international will be involved in the team's post-season fixtures.
"Garnacho is a Manchester United player that is not in the squad today, but he continues to be a Manchester United player," Amorim told TNT Sports ahead of the clash with Villa at Old Trafford.
When asked whether he would be a part of the post-season tour squad, Amorim said: "Yes, everybody is going, we have to go to meet our fans and to give something to our fans on the other side of the world."

Napoli 'emerge as the favourites' for Garnacho
Garnacho has scored 11 goals and registered 10 assists in 58 appearances for Man United this season, but he was named on the bench for the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur last week.
The forward was only given the final 19 minutes of the contest, which led to his brother and agent Roberto Garnacho hitting out at Amorim following the clash in Spain.
"Working as no one else, helping every round, coming from two goals in the last two finals, just to be on the pitch for 19 mins and get thrown under the bus. Wowe hahahahahaha," Roberto Garnacho wrote on Instagram.
Garnacho is believed to have been told by Amorim on Saturday that he is not in his plans for next season, with Napoli believed to be the favourites for the forward, while Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are also being linked with his services.
"I played every round to help the team reach the final, and today I only got 20 minutes. I don't know. I will try to enjoy the summer and then see what happens," Garnacho was quoted as saying by AlbicelesteTalk after the Europa League final.
Amorim then aimed a dig at Garnacho during his post-match press conference, telling reporters: "It's easy to say that now. Who missed the big opportunity in the first half in the semi-final? Garnacho. Football is like that."
Man United will begin their preparations for the 2025-26 campaign with a clash against Leeds United on July 19, with the team expected to begin pre-season training at the start of July.
