Crystal Palace are reportedly demanding upwards of £80m for midfielder Adam Wharton, who is wanted by Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City.

Liverpool have reportedly learned of Crystal Palace's asking price for Adam Wharton ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old has enjoyed an exceptional week for the Eagles, who secured a spot in the FA Cup final following a 3-0 battering of Aston Villa at Wembley Stadium.

Meanwhile on Merseyside, Liverpool are set for a number of bids for key players this summer, including Alexis Mac Allister, who is supposedly wanted by Real Madrid.

Arne Slot's men clinched their second-ever Premier League title with a 5-1 smashing of Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon at a sold-out Anfield.

Liverpool are currently a mammoth 15 points ahead of second-placed Arsenal in the top-flight standings, highlighting the dominance of the Reds this term.

Liverpool, Man United told Wharton price tag?

According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City are all keen on securing the services of Crystal Palace star Wharton in the near future.

The report claims that the Eagles are set to demand upwards of £80m for the 21-year-old from potential suitors during the summer transfer window.

With Wharton's contract at Selhurst Park not containing a release clause and expiring in 2029, Palace are in a great position to drive a hard bargain for the player.

While Man United and Man City are interested in the youngster, it is understood that Liverpool are in pole position to sign the midfielder at this stage.

Despite winning the Premier League rather comfortably this term, Reds head coach Slot wants to bring Wharton to Anfield as competition for Ryan Gravenberch.

Wharton's bright future

At the age of 20, Wharton was a member of England's Euro 2024 under Gareth Southgate last summer, with the Three Lions reaching another continental final.

The Palace playmaker has the potential to become a world-class operator, one who could be part of his national side for over a decade, possibly lifting major honours.

Wharton will need to make a smart choice regarding his next club after the Eagles, who are unlikely to provide the player with Champions League football anytime soon.
