Liverpool are reportedly demanding £85m for World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister this summer, with Real Madrid said to be keen on the midfielder.

Liverpool have reportedly placed a mammoth £85m price-tag on Alexis Mac Allister amid interest from Real Madrid.

The 26-year-old scored for the Reds on Sunday afternoon at Anfield, where his side managed a 5-1 battering of lowly Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Their success over sorry Spurs secured a 20th English crown for Liverpool, meaning that they are now equal by those metrics with arch rivals Manchester United.

With Mac Allister potentially moving away from the title winners, Arne Slot's men have been linked to Crystal Palace and England midfielder Adam Wharton in recent times.

The former Blackburn Rovers youngster helped the Eagles reach the final of the FA Cup on Saturday, beating a leggy Aston Villa side at Wembley Stadium.

Liverpool set huge asking price for Real Madrid-linked Mac Allister?

According to Defensa Central, Liverpool are preparing to ask a lot of potential suitors should they want to prise away top stars from Anfield this summer.

The report claims that the Premier League-clinching Reds have slapped a £85m price-tag on midfield maestro Mac Allister ahead of the summer transfer window.

It is understood that Real Madrid chairman Florentino Perez is extremely keen to improve his club's squad following a challenging 2024-25 campaign.

Los Blancos want to bring Mac Allister to the Bernabeu during the same summer window in which Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to swap Merseyside for Madrid.

Liverpool's stance on the situation remains clear; the Premier League winners are looking to retain the services of key personnel ahead of next term.

Where does Mac Allister stand?

Earlier this year, Mac Allister addressed rumours surrounding a potential move to Real Madrid, claiming that he is more than happy at Liverpool.

However, as shown by the situation of Alexander-Arnold, Los Blancos possess a pulling power that cannot be matched by any other side in world football.

In the back of his mind, Mac Allister could have serious dreams of turning out in white at the Bernabeu, although Anfield is a good place to reside in the meantime.
