West Ham United announce that four first-team players will leave the club when their contracts expire at the end of the season.

West Ham United have announced that Aaron Cresswell, Lukasz Fabianski, Vladimir Coufal and Danny Ings will all leave the club when their contracts expire at the end of the season.

All four players have made a combined total of more than 800 first-team appearances for the Hammers and were part of the club's historic Conference League-winning squad in 2023.

Thirty-five-year-old Cresswell will leave West Ham after 11 successive seasons with the club in the Premier League - the longest unbroken top-flight career of any individual player at the club in the Premier League era.

Cresswell joins the Hammers from Ipswich Town in July 2014 and the experienced left-sided defender has made 366 appearances across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing 37 assists.

The 2014-15 West Ham Player of the Year has been limited to 15 Premier League appearances this season, but nine of those have been made since the arrival of head coach Graham Potter in January.

One of the oldest members of West Ham's squad is goalkeeper Fabianski, who recently celebrated his 40th birthday and has played 215 times across seven seasons with the Hammers.

The Poland international was named Hammer of the Year in 2019 shortly after joining the club from Swansea City, and this season he has started 12 Premier League games between the sticks.

Full-back Coufal arrived at West Ham from Slavia Prague in October 2020 and the Czech Republic international has made almost 180 appearances for the club, featuring 22 times in all tournaments so far this term.

Former England striker Ings, also 32, has played a total of 69 times for the Hammers since joining from Aston Villa in January 2023, scoring five goals, but 14 of his 15 Premier League games this season have been as a substitute.

Potter pays tribute to "brilliant" and "admired" quartet leaving West Ham

Reacting to the news of all four players leaving West Ham, Potter said: "Aaron, Lukasz, Vladimir and Danny have been a pleasure to work with in my time here so far - all brilliant professionals on and off the pitch, with fantastic experience in the Premier League, and clearly loved and admired by their teammates and everyone here at the club.

"We still have three important matches to play this season, and I know that their focus will be 100% on helping the team in any way they can in those games, but we felt it was important to confirm this news now, out of respect for them and the service they have given to the club, and to allow our supporters to show their appreciation at our final home match of the season."

West Ham have said that the quartet will leave the club "with our love and appreciation for their contribution during a period that brought memorable success" and fans will have the opportunity to bid farewell to them when the hammers welcome Nottingham Forest to London Stadium for their final Premier League home game of the season on May 18.
