Liverpool are reportedly considering a swoop for Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller, who is said to be valued at £51m by his Bundesliga employers.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller.

The 24-year-old has impressed in the Bundesliga this season, playing 30 top-flight matches to date, scoring once and providing eight assists.

Stiller could join the newly-crowned Premier League champions next term, with Liverpool winning the title during their maiden campaign under Arne Slot.

The Reds only needed a point versus Tottenham Hotspur last time out to secure the English crown, however Slot's winning machine went several steps further, smashing the Anfield visitors 5-1.

Knocked out of the Champions League and FA Cup, Liverpool have just four competitive fixtures to fulfil before the conclusion of their season.

Liverpool to offer £51m for Stuttgart's Stiller?

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Liverpool are targeting significant reinforcements for their midfield ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

The report claims that the title-winning Reds are keen on securing the services of Stuttgart and Germany youngster Stiller during the summer transfer window.

It is understood that the 24-year-old is currently valued at around £51m, and it remains to be seen whether Liverpool are willing to pay such a price for the player.

After proving himself as a top Bundesliga midfielder, Reds boss Slot and the club's hierarchy believe that the former Bayern Munich youngster could make an immediate impact at Anfield.

Stiller should take to the field once again on Saturday afternoon, when mid-table dwellers Stuttgart visit relegation-threatened St Pauli in the Bundesliga.

Liverpool's midfield dilemma

Following the high-profile departures of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho in recent times, Liverpool have focused a significant amount of their attention on signing appropriate replacements.

The Reds were extremely keen on bringing Euro 2024 winner Martin Zubimendi to the club last summer, however the Spaniard rejected the advances of the Anfield outfit.

Slot's side are looking to plug gaps that were unable to be addressed successfully 12 months ago, aiming to lift back-to-back Premier League titles under the tutelage of Slot.
