Sports Mole looks at how Brighton & Hove Albion could line up for Sunday afternoon's match versus Newcastle United in the Premier League.

Brighton & Hove Albion are set to call upon the talents of Kaoru Mitoma from the start on Sunday, when Newcastle United visit in the Premier League.

The Japan international has struggled with injury of late but made a return to the Seagulls bench in recent times, scoring off the bench in each of the last two matches.

Mitoma is likely to join former Manchester United man Danny Welbeck at the top end of the pitch for Brighton, alongside Matt O'Riley and Yankuba Minteh.

There is also a case for German attacker Brajan Gruda to receive a rare start, with the 20-year-old providing two assists during a cameo against West Ham United last weekend.

Further back, Carlos Baleba could be restored to his natural position of midfield on Sunday after operating at centre-back alongside Lewis Dunk versus the Hammers.

Mats Wieffer and Pervis Estupinan are expected to keep their spots at full-back, with Jan Paul van Hecke potentially joining England international Dunk in the backline.

As a result of Baleba's position change, former Coventry City loanee Yasin Ayari could drop out of the side, with Jack Hinshelwood keeping his place in the engine room.

Brighton & Hove Albion possible starting lineup: Verbruggen; Wieffer, Dunk, Van Hecke, Estupinan; Baleba, Hinshelwood, Minteh, O'Riley, Mitoma; Welbeck
