However, the 26-year-old has not featured since that game, and the Foxes have gone on to keep three clean sheets in succession against Everton, Newport County and West Ham United.
While there is scope for a move in January, Atletico are seemingly set on trying to sign the centre-back on a free transfer in preparation for 2023-24.
With Wout Faes, Jonny Evans, Daniel Amartey and Jannik Vestergaard at his disposal, Brendan Rodgers may be open to an exit for Soyuncu next month.
That said, the same report indicates that Vestergaard, who has only played EFL Cup football this season, has also been made available for transfer.
