Sunday's Premier League predictions including Chelsea vs. Liverpool

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Chelsea vs. Liverpool.

Brentford vs. Man Utd (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Both looking to record their second victories of the week, Brentford and Manchester United meet for a Premier League battle at the Gtech Community Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Bees recorded an efficient 2-0 victory at Nottingham Forest on Thursday night, whilst the Red Devils were busy demolishing Athletic Bilbao in the Basque Country.

We say: Brentford 3-1 Manchester United

After beating top-five hopefuls Nottingham Forest on the road, Brentford should have no issues putting a second-string Man United side to the sword on Sunday.

The Bees face a quick turnaround from the City Ground success, but the same can be said for the Red Devils, who are likely to have more than just one eye on next week's second leg against Athletic Bilbao.

Brighton vs. Newcastle (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Both with aspirations of enjoying European nights next season, Brighton & Hove Albion and Newcastle United clash at The Amex on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League.

The Seagulls boosted their top-eight hopes with victory over West Ham United last time out, whereas the Magpies cherished another productive afternoon in the North-East at the expense of Ipswich Town.

We say: Brighton & Hove Albion 1-2 Newcastle United

After winning dramatically on home soil last time out, Brighton will be looking to repeat the trick when Newcastle visit the Amex this weekend.

The Magpies have hit their stride at an ideal stage of the season and should have enough firepower to claim a much-needed three points on the South Coast.

West Ham vs. Spurs (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Just one point and one place apart in the lower echelons of the Premier League table, London rivals West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur cross paths at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Graham Potter's men have had a week to dissect their excruciating 3-2 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion, whereas the Lilywhites have just put one foot firmly in this year's Europa League final.

We say: West Ham United 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur

As abysmal as West Ham's recent record may look at face value, each of their last six defeats has been by just the one goal, and they have given the likes of Bournemouth, Liverpool and Newcastle United good runs for their money.

Potter's men therefore have our backing to avoid successive losses, but their winless streak will surely be prolonged as a rotated Spurs side head home with a share of the spoils.

Chelsea vs. Liverpool (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Emerging to their first guard of honour of the season, newly-crowned Premier League champions Liverpool begin their title procession in Sunday's main event away to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The Reds officially moved back to the top of the English game alongside Manchester United by pummelling Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 last weekend, while the Blues scored one fewer in Thursday's Conference League battering of Djurgardens IF.

We say: Chelsea 1-1 Liverpool

It is inevitable that Liverpool's foot will come off the gas - if just ever so slightly - with the Reds in party mode, and Slot's confirmation of rotations spells optimism for Chelsea's chances of a shock.

The Blues have had no problems finding the back of the net at Stamford Bridge all season long, and Maresca's men can realistically expect to hold the champions to a score draw in Sunday's blockbuster.
