Liverpool injury, suspension list and return dates for Brighton clash: Joe Gomez, Tyler Morton latest

Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Monday's Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Liverpool hit the road one more time in 2024-25 on Monday night, as Arne Slot's Premier League champions clash with Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.

The Reds are yet to come up trumps since securing the top-flight title and threw away three points in last weekend's top-of-the-table clash with Arsenal, who fought back from 2-0 down to rescue a 2-2 draw at Anfield.

However, whatever Liverpool do from hereon in is largely trivial, and the Anfield faithful are simply counting down the days until the trophy lift on May 25.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with the Seagulls, who only trail eighth-placed Brentford on goal difference.

Joe Gomez

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: May 19 (vs. Brighton & Hove Albion)

Last month, Slot revealed that hamstring victim Joe Gomez could be on track to return for Liverpool's last two games of the season, but the England international is yet to train with the team and surely only has the slimmest of chances of making the cut here.

Tyler Morton

Status: Out
Type of injury: Shoulder
Possible return date: Unknown

Young midfielder Tyler Morton has been recuperating from a shoulder problem since February, and it is not clear whether the 22-year-old will play again before the season is over.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST
