Manchester United centre-back Ayden Heaven is included in the travelling squad for Friday's Premier League clash with Chelsea.

Manchester United centre-back Ayden Heaven has been included in the travelling squad for Friday's clash with Chelsea.

Heaven has been absent from Man United's last seven matchday squads, while he has not taken to the field since picking up an ankle injury during the Premier League clash with Leicester City before the March international break.

The ex-Arsenal youngster was not a part of the group that trained on Wednesday, but head coach Ruben Amorim did say in his press conference that the teenager had a chance of being available for the Europa League final.

In a major boost for the 20-time English champions, Heaven was pictured by the Manchester Evening News arriving at Stockport station on Thursday afternoon, and he will head down to London alongside his teammates.

Heaven, 18, has only made four appearances for Man United since his January arrival, but he made a huge impression and could be in with a chance of featuring in the Europa League final if he earns some minutes against Chelsea.

Matthijs de Ligt is again set to be absent against Chelsea due to a knee injury, while Leny Yoro and Diogo Dalot are still unavailable for selection, and it remains to be seen if they are back for the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur on May 21.

Toby Collyer is also making the trip to London, with the midfielder recovering from a recent injury problem.

Head coach Amorim will make changes against Chelsea, but a strong squad will travel to Stamford Bridge, including Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro and Alejandro Garnacho, who are all set to start against Tottenham.

Man United have not been victorious in the Premier League for two months, with their disastrous form seeing them drop down to 16th spot in the table, one point and one position above Tottenham.

The Red Devils will conclude their league season against Aston Villa next weekend, but their primary focus as of Friday evening will be on the gigantic clash with Spurs in Europe next week.
