Barcelona have reportedly entered talks over the signing of Liverpool forward Luis Diaz.
The Colombian has endured a difficult 2025 to date, managing just nine minutes for the Reds during their Premier League clash at Aston Villa on Wednesday night.
Diaz made a telling contribution during Liverpool's most recent battle at Anfield, though, scoring against Midlands outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Playing across 25 top-flight matches this term, the 28-year-old has found the net on nine occasions and provided an assist for a teammate twice.
Since making the high-profile switch from Porto to Anfield in January 2022, Diaz has featured 134 times for the Reds, scoring 37 times competitively.

Barcelona in dialogue over Diaz purchase?
Following a number of rumours concerning the future of Liverpool star Diaz, journalist Pipe Sierra has provided an update on the situation of the player.
The report claims that suggestions of the Reds offering the Colombian to Barcelona are wide of the mark, however there is a chance that the player moves to the Spanish giants.
It is understood that Liverpool and the Catalan giants are in dialogue over a potential transfer in the near future, with the Spanish club big admirers of the winger.
The possibility of a deal is supposedly dependent on whether Diaz signs a new contract on Merseyside, with his current deal expiring in 2027.
It has reported earlier this week that Barca had included Liverpool star Diaz on a five-man shortlist of winger options ahead of the summer window.

Should Diaz depart Liverpool?
Starting 19 matches in the Premier League for Liverpool this season, Diaz remains a key part of the plans at the club in the presence of Arne Slot.
However, the lure of Barcelona is often hard to ignore for attackers, even if the Reds are arguably the team to beat in England and Europe this season.
Slot's side sit eight points clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League standings, meaning that a first English title for Diaz is a distinct possibility in the coming months.
