Chelsea are back in action on Thursday evening when they play Djurgardens IF in the first leg of their Conference League semi-final.

The Blues earned a potentially-pivotal win in the race for Champions League qualification at the weekend as they edged out Everton by a 1-0 scoreline.

Nevertheless, Enzo Maresca and his squad are also eager to win this competition and face a team that currently sit in 10th place in the Allsvenskan table after five games.

Maresca has confirmed that Wesley Fofana will be sidelined for the remainder of the season owing to his latest fitness problem, this time another hamstring injury.

Having suffered a hamstring injury against Fulham earlier in April, Malo Gusto missed the game with Everton. However, Maresca suggested last week that the right-back could be in a position to return against Djurgardens.

Omari Kellyman took to his social media accounts on March 18 to confirm he has suffered a season-ending hamstring injury, with Chelsea looking to reintroduce the youngster into the first-team thinking next campaign.

Last featuring for Chelsea on February 3, Marc Guiu is said to have been cleared to return to training. Maresca acknowledged last week that the Spaniard was 'one or two weeks' away from coming back into contention, making it likely that this game will come too soon for the youngster.
