Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has confirmed that he will be leaving the Emirates Stadium upon the expiration of his contract at the end of June.
The 33-year-old joined the Gunners from London rivals Chelsea for around £12m in January 2023 and made a total of 79 appearances across all competitions, including just nine Premier League starts in the 2024-25 campaign.
Jorginho has now taken to social media to announce his departure, thanking all those associated with Arsenal for the support that he received during his time at the club.
"Sometimes the season is more than just about football, it's about moments. People. Growth. It's about feeling part of something bigger than yourself," Jorginho said as part of a montage video on Instagram.
"When I arrived at Arsenal, I wasn't joining a club I was stepping into a family. A team full of hunger. Passion. Purpose.
"I gave everything I had, every day. Every match. Not just for the results, but for this shirt. For the fans.
"Your support...it meant everything. Whether I was starting or on the bench, you made me feel valued. Loved. That's rare in football and I will never forget it. Now, it's time to say goodbye. Or maybe, see you soon."
Jorginho is set to continue his career in Brazil, with journalist Fabrizio Romano claiming that the Brazilian-born Italy international will sign a three-year deal with Flamengo who are competing at this summer's FIFA Club World Cup.

Celtic, Leicester-linked Schlupp to leave Crystal Palace
Another player on the move is Jeffrey Schlupp, who has announced that will leave Crystal Palace this summer after eight-and-a-half years with the club.
The 32-year-old has made a total of 247 appearances for the Eagles since joining in January 2017, scoring 19 goals, and he spent the second half of the season on loan at Scottish Premiership champions Celtic.
In a club statement, Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish said: "Across nine separate seasons with Crystal Palace, Jeffrey has made many an important contribution to the football club - and scored some incredible goals!
"Whatever has been asked of him - whatever the role, whenever the time - he has given his utmost to, and it speaks volumes that he has made such a great impression in different systems and under different managers.
"Successful squads are built on players of Jeffrey's calibre and character, and we have much to thank him for as he moves on from SE25. He leaves with our heartfelt gratitude, and the very best wishes of everyone at Crystal Palace."
Commenting on his departure, Schlupp added: "It's been an incredible eight years playing for this club. I've met some great people - the chairman, the gaffer, and all the staff I've met over the years - and it's meant a lot to have played for Crystal Palace. A big 'thank you' to this group, who have achieved something so special.
"You ask anybody about the Palace fans, and they know about the atmosphere that they create, and the amount of times they've pulled us through in difficult times. They've been our 12th man – so thank you to all the fans who have always supported me. Hopefully I've done you proud. I'll definitely see you again soon."
Recent reports have claimed that both Celtic and Schlupp's former club Leicester City, where he won the Premier League title in 2015-16, could battle it out for his signature this summer.

Aston Villa set to sign Redmond on free transfer
Elsewhere, Aston Villa are reportedly set to sign Feyenoord's teenage striker Zepiqueno Redmond on a free transfer.
Sky Sports News claims that the 18-year-old has agreed a four-year contract with the Premier League club which will begin on July 1.
Redmond is a Netherlands Under-19s international and has made a total of nine senior appearances for Feyenoord, including four in the Eredivisie last season.
The Rotterdam-born striker is a product of Feyenoord's academy and was a prolific goalscorer at youth level, netting 30 goals from Under-17 to Under 21 level.
It remains to be seen whether Unai Emery would intend to integrate Redmond into his senior squad, with Ollie Watkins currently the club's only recognised centre-forward; the youngster could instead begin in Villa's academy or be sent out on loan.
