Manchester City midfielder Jacob Wright has completed a permanent transfer to Championship club Norwich City.
The 19-year-old moved to Carrow Road on loan in February and featured in 15 Championship matches, contributing with four assists in the second half of the 2024-25 campaign.
It has now been confirmed by the Canaries that Wright has put pen to paper on a long-term deal to keep him at the club until 2029, with the option of a further year.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Man City will receive an initial £2.3m that has the potential to rise to £3m and they have also included sell-on and buy-back clauses in the deal.
Speaking to Norwich's official website: Wright said: "I'm really excited, this is what I wanted when I moved here. The last couple of months that I've spent here have cemented my feelings towards the club.
"I've really enjoyed my time here and hopefully that journey can now continue."

Wright completes permanent Norwich move from Man City
Norwich sporting director Ben Knapper added: "Jacob has been fantastic since joining us back in January, and his impact and performances made this an easy decision for us to make.
"He has established himself as a key member of our group already, and his potential is huge. Not only is he a very talented player, he has big leadership qualities and we're all excited to continue working with him to help him achieve his potential and support us in striving towards our goals as a club."
Wright, who will officially link up with Norwich on July 1, registered with Man City's academy as an eight-year-old and progressed through the club's youth ranks before signing a scholarship in July 2022.
The Manchester-born Premier League title winner at Under-18s level was given his senior debut by Pep Guardiola in Man City's FA Cup win over Huddersfield Town in January 2024 and made a cameo substitute appearance in a Champions League home win over Copenhagen.
However, Wright has not played for Man City's first team since and has made the decision to join Norwich - who finished 13th in the Championship - on a permanent basis to gain regular first-team football.
Wright will hope to earn a regular starting spot in Norwich's midfield under Liam Manning, who is allegedly on the verge of being appointed the club's new head coach following the departure of Johannes Hoff Thorup last month.
