Barcelona vice president Rafa Yuste says that Ousmane Dembele could sign a new contract with the club.

Barcelona vice president Rafa Yuste has said that Ousmane Dembele could sign a new contract at Camp Nou.

The France international's current deal with the Catalan giants is due to expire at the end of June, and he was expected to be sold in January after failing to agree fresh terms with Xavi's side.

Dembele has worked his way back into favour in recent weeks, though, with the 24-year-old scoring once and providing seven assists in his last five La Liga appearances.

The attacker is allegedly yet to make a final decision on his future, with a number of clubs prepared to offer him lucrative contracts to move on a free transfer this summer.

However, Yuste has said that Barcelona are now open to the possibility of reopening contract talks with the Frenchman depending on his own happiness at the club.

"If Ousmane Dembele continues to feel comfortable, we can meet his agents and he could stay," Yuste told Catalunya Radio.

Dembele, who is thought to be a target for the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus, has scored twice and registered nine assists in 21 appearances at club level this season.
