Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has revealed there has been no progress in contract talks, although he has insisted he is "happy" at Anfield.
Last month, Liverpool announced new two-year deals for captain Virgil van Dijk and forward Mohamed Salah, ending the speculation surrounding their futures.
However, they were unable to reach an agreement with right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, who will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of June.
The Premier League champions are now facing more contract uncertainty, with Konate set to enter the final 12 months of his current deal.

Konate delivers fresh contract update
Konate has now admitted that there has been no real progress in negotiations to extend his stay with the Merseyside club.
"I know I have a lot of objectives with this club: to become a leader, to win everything," Konate told reporters. "I am very happy here to be fair.
"This is another conversation with the club and my agent, we will see what will happen in the next few weeks or I don't know when, but we will see, let me say that.
"Progressing? Not really – but my agent met the club last week, but I don't know what will happen. I cannot say what my agent said to me but yeah, we will see what will happen."

Konate hits back at social media speculation
While it remains to be seen whether the two parties can agree a deal, Konate has hit out at rumours that suggested he was close to a new deal in November.
"I just want to say one thing: everything you saw on social media is completely fake," Konate said. "I didn't even ask for something from the club."
"They made me an offer, and I replied to them with something, that is it. The rest, that I want to wait until the end (of his contract), all of it is completely fake.
"In November (it was claimed), I am very close to signing the deal. I was like, 'ah, they have more information than me' because it was not true at that moment, and that is why I was a little bit mad.
"I knew at one moment people would think I didn't want to sign the contract, but I was never close to signing it. We will see what will happen."
Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes will surely do his utmost to reach an agreement with Konate's camp, given the fact that he has formed a strong central-defensive partnership with Van Dijk.
The Frenchman featured in 31 of Liverpool's 38 Premier League games in 2024-25, helping the Reds win their 20th top-flight title.
Konate had a key role in Liverpool finishing with the league's second-best defensive record, with just 41 goals conceded in 38 matches.
