Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has comfortably taken home the Premier League's Manager of the Season prize in the 2024-25 Sports Mole Readers' Awards.

Few backed the Dutchman to conquer the land in his first season since replacing Jurgen Klopp, but he defied the odds to lead the Reds to their second Premier League crown.

Slot became just the fifth manager in Premier League history to win the competition in his debut campaign in English football, following in the footsteps of Antonio Conte, Carlo Ancelotti, Manuel Pellegrini and Jose Mourinho.

The former Feyenoord boss was therefore an obvious pick for the Manager of the Season, and he claimed over half of the vote, taking a 59.3% share amid competition from six other head coaches.

Nottingham Forest's Nuno Espirito Santo was a distant second, collecting 21.3% of the nominations after ending the Tricky Trees' 30-year exile from European football with a seventh-placed finish.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe was third in the vote with 7.5%, but the season belonged to Slot, who has proven straight away that life in a post-Klopp world is not so bad for the Liverpool faithful.
