Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Ipswich Town could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Ipswich Town could be without six players for Saturday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Portman Road.

Sammie Szmodics (ankle), Wes Burns (knee) and Chiedozie Ogbene (calf) all remain long-term absentees, while Arijanet Muric is nursing a shoulder problem which may require surgery.

Omari Hutchinson (hamstring) and Leif Davis (leg) are both major doubts after they missed the Tractor Boys' 2-1 victory at Bournemouth on Wednesday night.

Conor Townsend stepped in for Davis at left-back and is likely to retain his spot in the back four alongside Cameron Burgess, Dara O'Shea and Axel Tuanzebe.

Kalvin Phillips will be hoping to force his way back into the starting lineup ahead of either Sam Morsy or Jens Cajuste, but the latter two are the most likely pair to link up in centre-midfield.

While Julio Enciso is in contention to continue on the left side of attack, Ben Johnson could play again on the right flank, although Jaden Philogene and Jack Clarke will both be pushing for a recall.

Nathan Broadhead and Liam Delap were both on target in the win over Bournemouth, the latter of whom has now scored a team-high 11 Premier League goals this term, and both players are set to continue in the final third.

Ipswich Town possible starting lineup: Palmer; Tuanzebe, O'Shea, Burgess, Townsend; Morsy, Cajuste; Philogene, Broadhead, Enciso; Delap
