Liverpool youngster Ben Doak is reportedly attracting interest from local rivals Everton, with Crystal Palace and Bournemouth also keen on the Scottish winger.

Liverpool youngster Ben Doak is reportedly wanted by local rivals Everton ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old has spent the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Middlesbrough in the Championship, with the Reds of Liverpool supposedly willing to offload the talent in the near future.

Doak started brightly for Michael Carrick's men in the second tier, netting three goals and providing seven assists across 24 league appearances.

However, the winger was forced onto the operating table by a thigh injury at the end of January, leaving him unavailable for several months.

The Liverpool prospect faces a race against time to be fit for any of Middlesbrough's remaining matches, with the Teesside club targeting a spot in the Championship playoffs.

Liverpool man Doak wanted by Everton?

According to The Sun, there could be a shock switch across Merseyside battle lines for teeanger Doak during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The report states that Everton are interested in signing Liverpool man Doak ahead of the new campaign, following his impressive displays at Boro.

It is understood that Toffees manager David Moyes is a huge admirer of the 19-year-old, who has been highlighted as a priority target due to his speed and trickery.

Everton are not alone in their fondness of the player, though, with Bournemouth and Crystal Palace also said to be circling around the talent.

The Champions League-chasing Cherries could be in the market for a new winger this summer, with Antoine Semenyo supposedly wanted by Liverpool.

Scotland's new star

Making his Scotland debut in 2024, Doak showed no signs of being intimidated by the international stage, looking comfortable from the first minute.

At just 19 years of age, the attacker has the potential to blossom into a legend for the Tartan Army, as they aim to become regular appearance-makers at major tournaments.

Steve Clarke's men suffered in the absence of Doak during the March international break, losing their UEFA Nations League A/B playoff to Greece over two legs.

Making up Group C of World Cup qualifying in UEFA alongside Denmark, Belarus and Greece, Doak and the Tartan Army have a great chance of making next year's World Cup in North America.
