Tuesday's League Two predictions including Stockport County vs. Bradford City

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's League Two fixtures, including Stockport County vs. Bradford City.

Colchester vs. Salford City (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Colchester United host Salford City at the Community Stadium this weekend, going into the busy Christmas period very much under the cosh at the bottom of the table.

Their visitors sit in ninth place in League Two, and are the favourites of this chilly Football League clash, with their hosts sitting in 23rd place.

We say: Colchester United 0-2 Salford City

Despite home advantage and Bloomfield's hope of progress from the training field, it is hard to get away from the obvious attacking deficiencies that Colchester have shown this season.

The U's will find it very hard to break down a Salford back line full of their manager's confidence to withstand a disjointed and injury-stricken lineup. They will likely be punished by the skill of Callum Hendry and Odin Bailey, both of whom are more-than-capable attackers to unpick Colchester at the weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

AFC Wimbledon vs. Walsall (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

A solitary point separates AFC Wimbledon and Walsall in the League Two table ahead of their meeting at the Cherry Red Records Stadium on Tuesday night.

Boasting two games in hand, 11th-placed Walsall find themselves two places above Wimbledon and three points shy of the top seven, so the visitors could break into the playoff spots with victory in the capital.

We say: AFC Wimbledon 0-1 Walsall

Having lost only two of their last 14 league matches, Walsall look set to enjoy even more success against Wimbledon, who head into Tuesday's clash in questionable form.

Only the top two sides in the division – Leyton Orient and Stevenage – have conceded fewer goals than Walsall this term, meaning the visitors could keep a clean sheet on their way to victory.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Carlisle vs. Hartlepool (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Carlisle United will be looking to continue their push for League Two's automatic promotion places when they host Hartlepool United at Brunton Park on Tuesday night.

The Blues are fourth in the league standings and have at least one game in hand on every team above them, while the Pools have concerns at the other end of the table, currently sitting in 22nd place.

We say: Carlisle United 3-0 Hartlepool United

Hartlepool have shown signs of improvement in recent weeks, but Carlisle should still have no problems sweeping them aside, just like they did in the reverse fixture earlier this season.

Dennis has been in fine form in front of goals for the Blues, and we expect him to get on the scoresheet again in a resounding victory for his side.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Crawley vs. Grimsby Town (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Relegation-threatened Crawley Town welcome Grimsby Town to Broadfield Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Scott Lindsey's side find themselves sitting precariously above the National League trapdoor, while The Mariners are only five positions above their midweek hosts but are still equidistant between the playoff positions and the relegation zone.

We say: Crawley Town 1-1 Grimsby Town

In pursuit of their first away victory in over two months, we predict that Grimsby Town will have to wait a little longer for that elusive success, with both sides cancelling each other out in a closely-contested affair at Broadfield Stadium.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Stockport vs. Bradford (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Just three of Saturday's League Two games survived the cold snap, with nine clashes being postponed due to frozen pitches, meaning Stockport County and Bradford City will be eager to return to action.

Tenth-placed Stockport host seventh-placed Bradford at Edgeley Park on Tuesday night, with only three points separating the teams in the League Two table, adding extra importance to the midweek clash.

We say: Stockport County 2-0 Bradford City

Although Bradford sit three points clear of Stockport in the table, the Hatters will be confident of claiming all three points at Edgeley Park, given the recent downturn in Bradford's form.

Stockport have claimed four clean-sheet victories across their previous five league encounters, and they are on course to secure another shutout win on Tuesday.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Swindon vs. Stevenage (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Stevenage travel to the County Ground to take on Swindon Town on Tuesday night, knowing that a win could take them to the summit of the League Two table.

The visitors are currently in second place, two points behind Leyton Orient, while the hosts are also in with a shout of automatic promotion, given that they are in sixth.

We say: Swindon Town 1-1 Stevenage

Stevenage are real contenders for the League Two title, but travelling to Swindon will prove to be a tough test, considering that they have not won in their last four league away games.

If any team takes the three points, it is likely to be the visitors, but we expect the spoils to be shared in a very closely-contested game, given that the hosts will be full of confidence after an emphatic win in their last match.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
