Bournemouth will have the chance to achieve a winning feat for the first time in 94 years when they face Fulham in Monday's Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth will have the chance to achieve a winning feat for the first time in 94 years when they welcome Fulham to the Vitality Stadium for Monday's Premier League fixture.

The Cherries are looking to get their European bid back on track after taking just two points from their last six league matches.

They collect one of those two points in their most recent outing against West Ham United at the London Stadium, where Evanilson netted a brace to ensure the contest finished in a 2-2 draw.

Having gone nearly two months without a league win, Bournemouth are sitting in 10th place with a nine-point gap to the top seven, although they can close that deficit to six points with a victory in Monday's contest.

The Cherries have enjoyed success in their last two home games against Fulham, recording a 2-1 victory in April 2023, before they eased to a 3-0 win in December of the same year.

As a result of those two victories, Bournemouth now have the chance to claim three consecutive home wins against Fulham for the first time since 1931.

However, achieving that feat will be easier said than done, especially as they have lost each of their last four top-flight home games against Liverpool, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Brentford and Ipswich Town.

The South-coast side are now at risk of losing five consecutive home league matches for the first time since 2005.

What is Bournemouth's latest injury news?

Kluivert has been one of Bournemouth's key players this season, having scored 13 goals and provided eight assists in 33 competitive appearances this term.

However, he has been absent for the last two matches due to injury and remains a doubt for Monday's home clash with Marco Silva's side.

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola revealed on Friday that a late decision will be made on Kluivert's availability.

Luis Sinisterra and Marcus Tavernier will also be assessed ahead of the home fixture, but the Cherries will definitely be without Ryan Christie after he was recently ruled out for the rest of the season with a persistent injury that requires surgery.

Meanwhile, forward Enes Unal remains a long-term absentee after he sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury in January.
