Aston Villa could achieve a club first when they square off against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Having started the week in ninth position in the table, the West Midlands outfit cannot claim to have met expectations on the back of last season's fourth-placed finish.
However, the 3-0 victory at Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday night has catapulted Unai Emery's side into seventh place, just four points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea.
Villa are now preparing to play host to a team in Nottingham Forest who sit in third place, albeit with Emery's side having the chance to cut the gap to Nuno Espirito Santo's team to six points.
Ahead of the all-Midlands fixture in Birmingham, Villa could potentially achieve something they have never pulled off in their history.

What record is at stake?
Impressively, Villa have avoided defeat on seven occasions when they have conceded the first goal in a home Premier League encounter this season.
As well as four draws being posted, Villa have come from behind to record maximum points on three occasions, most recently against Chelsea on February 22.
Villa have not pulled off four such comeback victories at Villa Park in the same season in their history, and they are facing opponents who have made a habit of scoring the first goal in matches during 2024-25.
Furthermore, Villa are bidding to extend their unbeaten home league record versus Forest to nine games; they have not suffered defeat in this fixture since 1994.
Their chances of extending that run are strengthened by Villa having put together a 14-match unbeaten streak in the Premier League at Villa Park since losing to Arsenal in August.

What is at stake for Forest?
As far as Forest are concerned, they are bidding to record their first league double over Villa for the first time since the 1984-85 campaign.
Nuno's side have already put together an astonishing away record this season, accumulating 26 points from 15 matches in the top flight.
Their focus will remain on trying to defend their position in the top five of the Premier League table; sixth-placed Newcastle United are seven points adrift but with a game in hand.
