Arsenal injury, suspension list and return dates for Ipswich clash: Jorginho, Riccardo Calafiori latest

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League showdown with Ipswich Town.

Still revelling in their mesmerising Champions League feats, Arsenal must re-focus on domestic matters when they travel to Ipswich Town for Sunday's Premier League showdown.

Mikel Arteta's team have a European semi-final to look forward to thanks to their tremendous 2-1 win over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in the second leg of their quarter-final, which sealed a 5-1 aggregate success.

However, the Gunners' fading Premier League title hopes could be officially extinguished this weekend, as defeat at Portman Road coupled with Liverpool beating Leicester City would hand the Reds the crown.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Ipswich, who are 14 points adrift of safety and could officially be relegated back down to the Championship with a loss.

Jorginho

Status: Out
Type of injury: Chest
Possible return date: Unknown

Jorginho was taken off with an unusual chest problem in the 1-1 Premier League draw with Brentford last weekend and is expected to be out for a few weeks, but there is hope that he will return before the campaign draws to a close.

Gabriel Jesus

Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Gabriel Jesus continues to watch from afar while he recovers from a devastating knee injury, one that is expected to sideline him for the remainder of the calendar year.

Gabriel Magalhaes

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Namesake Gabriel Magalhaes is also out for the long-term after undergoing hamstring surgery, but the centre-back is working to return to full fitness for the start of pre-season.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

The perennially luckless Takehiro Tomiyasu is on the mend from a knee operation, and the Japan international - who has made just one appearance in 2024-25 - may not be back on the pitch until 2026.

Kai Havertz

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: May 25 (vs. Southampton)

The hamstring tear that Kai Havertz sustained in Dubai was initially expected to rule him out for the rest of the season, but the German is in with a slim chance of returning for the final weekend.

Riccardo Calafiori

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: April 29 (vs. Paris Saint-Germain)

Riccardo Calafiori - who damaged his knee during the March international break - will be the next cab off the rank for Arsenal, but he is targeting a return for the Champions League semi-final with Paris Saint-Germain as opposed to this one.
