West Ham United will be without at least three players for Saturday's Premier League clash with Southampton at the London Stadium.
Aaron Cresswell has missed the Hammers' last two games with a muscle injury and remains sidelined along with Crysencio Summerville (thigh) and Michail Antonio (leg), while Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be assessed as he has been struggling with a toe issue this week.
Graham Potter is unlikely to make wholesale changes to the side that began the 2-1 defeat at Liverpool last weekend, but he may consider switching to a four-man defence including either Wan-Bissaka - if fit - or Vladimir Coufal, as well as Jean-Clair Todibo, Max Kilman and Oliver Scarles, with Konstantinos Mavropanos therefore making way.
Edson Alvarez or Tomas Soucek could be recalled to partner ex-Southampton man James Ward-Prowse in centre-midfield, while Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus are both candidates to operate as either a number 10 or out on the left flank.
Both Kudus and Jarrod Bowen started up front last time out, but if Potter indeed reverts to a four-man defence and chooses to deploy wingers in his first XI, Bowen could move over to his favoured right-wing role and Niclas Fullkrug may be handed a start as the central striker.
Evan Ferguson is another who will be pushing for a start, while teenager Luis Guilherme has been called upon by Potter in recent weeks, but the attacker is likely to begin as a substitute.
West Ham United possible starting lineup: Areola; Wan-Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman, Scarles; Soucek, Ward-Prowse; Bowen, Kudus, Paqueta; Fullkrug
